Choose a background and inspect your composition before encoding. GIF has binary transparency, not partial opacity. Fully transparent pixels can stay transparent; partially transparent pixels are blended onto your chosen edge matte. The fixed 216-color RGB palette can change photo colors. No dithering, lossless claim or smaller-file promise.
Use the frame controls to reorder, duplicate or remove frames and set each delay. Imported GIF timing is read from its stored fields. APNG and WebP timing comes from the browser decoder. Delays must be exact multiples of 10 ms; other values are rejected. Crossfades add one frame between adjacent frames, not between the end and start.
This online GIF maker accepts PNG, JPEG, GIF, WebP, AVIF and BMP when your browser decodes them. Animated inputs are split into composited frames. A local MP4, WebM or MOV can be sampled if your browser supports its codec. Video is silent; its frames are sampled, not motion interpolated.
Up to 200 output frames, 4,096 pixels per canvas side and 100 million output canvas pixels. Imported frames also share a 100 million pixel memory budget. Video clips are limited to ten seconds at 5, 10 or 15 FPS. The overall file-size limit depends on available browser memory. Encoding times out after two minutes. This requires ImageDecoder, OffscreenCanvas and workers; unsupported browsers show an error.
No archives, PDF, HEIC, TIFF, legacy animation formats, URL or cloud import. No hosted sharing, audio, sticker catalog, freehand drawing or timed moving overlays. Caption and filters apply to every frame. These capabilities are not supported by this tool.
Yes. Add local images, choose their sequence and download a GIF. Processing happens in your browser, without a server upload.
No. GIF palette limits affect photos and gradients. The preview before export shows composition; the generated GIF preview shows the encoded result.
Yes. It creates a single-frame GIF. Adding images creates animation; it does not animate objects inside a still photo.
